It contains; A xxx-page Full-Colour Teachers Notes Handbook or Independent / Adult Study Edition Handbook, a xxx-page Guided Student Booklet, and a fully inclusive Microsoft PowerPoint NHHJ – ‘The National Heroes and Heroines of Jamaica‘ Package containing xxx Full-Colour Slides and a xxx-Slide Guided Student Copy Microsoft PowerPoint Package for comprehensive interactive digital Classroom, Remote Learning or Online use.



It can also be utilised in Sections to create smaller-scale Classroom Sessions and/ or Workshops. Each Section also contains Questions, Discussion Points and Project Work Tasks, collected together in the Guided Student Work Section.
The Resource is designed to provide Educators and Students with a UK Key Stage 2 equivalent access point into Global History, via exploration of the National Heroes and Honours System of Jamaica.

It examines the lives and times of some important Historical figures from Caribbean history, providing discussion and creative writing opportunities, comprehensive research-based exercises, and appropriate organisational and resource links.
These can all be utilised to launch appropriately supported, independent and joint, school and community projects, on topics including;
Jamaican Geography and Local Topography, Landmarks, Natural Features and Other Attractions, Jamaican Knighthoods and Medals, Native Flora & Fauna, Fruit, Vegetables, Cuisine and Culture, The National Heroes and Other Jamaican Heroes, Pre-Columbus Xamayca, The Maroons of Jamaica and Jamaican Music.
